Grandfather Golf and Country Club caters to the cultured tastes of its members with atmosphere, amenities and services to feed both the body and soul. This is a place where friendships flourish. Generations come together–grandparents, parents, children and grandkids share bonds that include nature, picnics and parties, art, athletic competition, and more.

Equally, courtesy and caring are important parts of our membership values. The philanthropy cultivated by our Chapel By the Lake allows us to collectively give back to our community. The Chapel has a long-time tradition of supporting local programs, including Grandfather Home for Children, Lees-McRae College and other charitable causes throughout Avery County. In fact, our level of contributions enabled our Chapel to received designation as a 501(c)3.
