Chip King, PGA

Chip King has been the Director of Golf at Grandfather Golf and Country Club for the past fifteen years. He became the 45th member of the Carolinas PGA Hall of Fame in 2015. Chip began his U.S. Professional career at the Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, North Carolina and continued working in the Pinehurst area until he moved to Grandfather in 2007.

In addition to his most recent achievements, the Toronto, Canada native has been honored as the 2001 CPGA and 2002 PGA of America National Resort Merchandiser of the Year and was named Golf Professional of the Year in the Carolinas in 1991, among other accolades. Chip takes pride in his work and is passionate about mentoring and training young golf professionals to become successful leaders in the industry.
